Eastlawn Records is proud to release the latest recording from the Planet D Nonet, "We Travel The Spaceways; The Music of Sun Ra." Led by RJ Spangler & James O'Donnell, this CD documents the bandleaders shared love of the music of the legendary composer & pianist. It is a two CD set, mostly culled from live recordings and features two wonderful sax players (as well as former Detroiters): Salim Washington, who now lives in NYC and Kenny Millions (Keshavan Maslak) who currently lives in Florida.
